Little Sister Love

This weekend my little sister turned 25! I feel like I was just 25. {Such a trip!} We've had multiple get togethers through out the weekend and will culminate the celebrations with her *C* Themed Birthday party on Saturday.

I love my sister to pieces! She is my best friend and don't think I could love her any more than I do. She's grown into such a beautiful and special woman. I'm so proud of her and  her heart. She loves the Lord first and everyone else follows as a close second. She's so kind and patient - and deserves a post just about her!

Here are some pictures from Chrissy's Birthday Parties...

MusiCares Person of the Year - Bruce Springsteen

WOW - I was given the opportunity, from a wonderful friend, to volunteer for the MusiCares Person of the Year event last night in LA. I was beyond excited to be apart of such a great evening.

After a long day at work I headed toward the Convention Center {thankfully without traffic} to check in. My first task was assisting guest to their seats. I saw Tim & Faith {<3 them}, Zac Brown, Bruce Springsteen {of course!}, Bev Hills Housewives, and so many more! My next task was auction spotter. Read more here about the auction. So exciting!!! Once Mr. Bruce Springsteen grabbed 'hold the mic he began throwing in allllll kinds of extras to go along with an autographed Fender!

MusiCares is such a great organization! They are doing wonderful things within our communities. Read more about what they are doing and how you can help here.

After my duties were done I got to sit and watch the concert. Here is the impressive list of performers:

Gettin' Down with Little Big Town

My goodness! I'm on the weekday fast track for the second week in a row. This past week was full of friends, fun, music, and amazing adventures.

On Wednesday I left work early to save a place in line for the Little Big Town concert at Toby Keith's I love this Bar and Grill in Rancho Cucamonga. Standing in line and waiting for hours was absolutely worth it!

The past few line dancing lessons have been focused on the dance F5 {for the song Tornado by LBT}. There wasn't even close to space to dance on the standing room only dance floor but, Katie and I managed to bust out a few steps in our close quarters.

Below are some fun pictures from the evening:

I can't wait for the next concert at TK's. So much fun, great personal venue, and walking distance from my house - what more can you ask for?

Whirlwind Week

Hello Everyone -

This week was just crazy for me! I'm sure you can relate, those weeks that just seem like a whirlwind. I was so happy when Sunday rolled around. Time for some God time, family time, and time to relax.

Pastor Chuck said something today that really hit home for me. He was talking about running around in life trying to catch your breath verse leading a breath taking life. I would MUCH rather lead a breath taking life than constantly needing to take a breather.

Luckily his words hit me like a ton of bricks - so I'm going into this week with a 'breathtaking life' mentality. (Last week was hard enough!!)

Here are some of my highlights:

Tuesday:
Line Dancing Lessons at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar

Thursday:
Tanya's last day at Ignite :( Fro Yo with my lovely ladies!

Friday:
Surprise Birthday Party for my Aunt
Montana's with Katie

Saturday:
Lunch with Collin
Branding Iron with my Family

Sunday:
Church
Announced first month winner in the Siriani Girls Weight loss challenge
Family Super Bowl Party
...much needed sleep!

Whew! With a demanding job and packed social schedule it's hard to get in much needed beauty rest - so with heavy eye lids I'll be closing them before 10.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
